Anemometer

I need to replace the anemometer from Gerard and the wires from the coach (2006 American Eagle) are different colors from the ones on the new part. Anyone know about the difference? Coach wires are brown & blue. From the new part black & red.

12 volt on Rv's is red - hot black - ground. When black and white it is black-hot white- ground.

This thread never got a final answer. The coach wires are blue and brown, and the new Girard wind sensor is red and black.
What color goes to what?

To complete this topic I called Girard. The wind sensor closes the circuit, so there is no polarity. You can connect the wires either way and it doesn't matter.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Can't help with the problem but just wanted to say hello. Keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
