Another charging question

I am building a new carport for my motor home. I will be running power to it. I am currently hooked to 110 from an exterior plug on my house to keep my refrigerator running. I replaced the fridge with an electric (No gas) when my old one bit the dust. My question, should I run a 30 amp or 50 amp line?

Use my motor home as guest cottage. Have 50 amp so can use both a/c. Also have hook up for water and septic system.

For just the fridge the 110/15amp is fine but if you want to use higher powered items like microwave of a/c then bigger power service will be needed. I just use a 15amp service to my coach while parked in the drive to keep fridge and a couple lights running, occasionally a vent fan and it works fine.

If you're going through the trouble of installing a carport now is the time to go with 50amp as well. Who knows what MH you'll have in the future.

Agreed.
The cost difference between 30amp and 50amp should be negligible, and you may be very glad to have it some day.
