Another dryer issue

DH and I pulled the stacked washer and dryer out today to fix a water leak and check why the dryer wasn't drying. Found lots and lots of lint (it hasn't worked since we have had it) Got it all cleaned and repaired - now problem is - how to get the dryer hose attached to the dryer. There just isn't room to get a hand or anything back there to get it attached. We have a '05 Kountry Star and the washer and dryer is Majestic. Any help would be appreciated.

Can you take the outside vent off and reach in from there?

Interesting problem. How did it come off? Is there any access hatch behind the washer/dryer? Maybe a clothes closet there where you can make an access hatch?

Thanks - the dryer hose came off when we pulled it out. PDR John - think he is going to try that tomorrow. There is just no other way to get to it. Hopefully he can make that work. Another thing we noticed was that the back of the dryer had been rubbing on the faucets in the back so we are going to try to do something about that before we have bigger problems. Thanks for help.

Have you thought about replacing the old hose with a new hose that will allow you just enough room to make your connection.....don't just pile an excessive long hose back into place, maybe an additional 2 feet might make the job that much easier

corjaguar - Finally completed that project - hooked the hose to the dryer first then put a couple of wires one the other end of the hose and ran them out the vent hole in the MH and while DH pushed the washer/dryer back into the closet, I went outside and guided the hose in with the wires. Worked like a charm and my dryer actually works for the first time since we bought the motor home. You would think dealers would check and fix that kind of stuff... not the one we bought from. Thanks for info.
