Hi Kellyfettes--I too have 12 volt issues on my 84 HR Imperial. Bought it 1 month ago. I am watching this thread closely for I have no 12 volt anything working. Do you have 3 switches by your house entry door and one similar switch in the back under thermostat? I know step switch by entry door is one of the three but the others???? Don't know how to contact you direct but would like to so as to exchange info on troubleshooting the Rig without ANY manuals. Im in Kansas City. Hope yours gets worked out. Thanks

kellyfettes-

If you look closely (under the busbar), you should see a circuit breaker. One end is attached to the busbar, and the other to the ring terminal that feeds the converter. I suspect you need to replace that circuit breaker.

If the circuit breaker has a very small black button on it, it is a manual-reset breaker. Try pressing the button to see if the breaker resets and you get 12V on the converter terminal. If no joy, then you need to replace the breaker. Amazon link here.

If the circuit breaker does not have a small button on it, it is probably a self-resetting type, and must be replaced. Amazon link here.

If you look at my last 3 comments I explain how I figured out the problem. It took me forever. I should have started there, testing the volts to the various screws on the bus bar. I have the intellitec bd-2 control panel inside, above the entry door. I dont have anything by my thermostats. The 3 switches by my front door are for the porch light, the interior over head light and the steps.
