Another Question - Custom Breakfast Hutch/Buffet
One of the considerations for floorplan for us is the ability to have two computer workstations set up for work. I've seen some buffet's that are nearly big enough to work for this without losing other furniture.
How much should I expect to spend to have one built/installed? I'd like one that is somewhere around 72x24, with a roll out table top in the center for dining/extra space.
More importantly than how much is who/where to get that kind of work done. Any suggestions?

Most local cabinet shops should be able to help design and build whatever you need along that line.

Just make sure it can get into, the unit you have and isn't too heavy. Hate to see you have it built and not fit in the door or able to get it where you want.

Hopefully the cabins portion would be in multiple pieces.

Something like the table top at 1:45 of this video.

Now to find the supplier of that roll up unit.

"aknavy"......Newmar actually makes one of their table options like that, with a roll top table. Since it's an option, you can actually buy just the table assembly. When I ought my 2014 Newmar, it had a booth dinette I didn't like ad ordered a buffet and table. They shipped it to my house.
My point, you might find something premade that will fit.

When you say "workstations" could they be laptops?
Can you create a intranet that has a mini server with huge storage and an internal "Cloud" that "is" your work environment or do you have to have standalone PCs?
I think we need a little more info to help you.

I like that idea - may have to call them and see what it would take to get one. Some of my top contenders right now are Newmars anyways, not that it couldn't got in any brand.

For me - I have dual external monitors connected to A/B switches and a KVM for two laptops. Both laptops are pretty hefty - high performance 15 and 17 inch machines, but most of the time I keep them closed and just use the external monitors/keyboard/mouse. The wife has one external and a Macbook Pro, connected to external keyboard and mouse.
Currently, we both have 30 inch Jarvis sit/stand desks for our computers, and those are in the rear of the fiver where a couch used to live.
The buffet idea would be combined with table top sit/stand desks and the current monitor setup, if we went that route.
The reason for wanting a custom buffet is that I"d ideally have more workspace than most of them offer - really, 30 inches is about the minimum for me. So - for two of us, 60 inches of work space and a foot or so of separation.

Take a look through some of this stuff and see what you like (besides it all).

You may be able to find somebody that does that type of work closer to where you are.

I had a small woodshop at my home for more than 20 years and I built custom furniture of all types. What I would suggest is that you search for a wood worker online and discuss what you are wanting. Most wood workers can get you exactly what you want along with taking into consideration things like weight, assembly inside the coach, etc. It doesn't have to be expensive either to get exactly what you want. Just my two cents.
