If it was gas he would still be backing up. The diesel quit as soon as it became submerged so the front end stays dry. Looks like a good reason to have an engine that quits early!!! LOL

Ouch!!! I'm guessing they maybe hit the gas instead of the brake???
As long as no one was hurt, and they have good insurance coverage it will make for a great story as the years go by "Remember when so and so backed the motorhome into the river ... lololol".

Looks like it was backed through a nice camping spot. Probably had to reserve a year in advance.

Look under the front tire and and under body behind front tire it apears a ramp or bridge plate gave it up so may not be drivers fault

That looks like the bay doors peeling up as they slid across the wall. That must have been a very interesting day in that campground.

He's not cleaning the engine, it's a rear radiator and he's using the fan for powering water through the fins to clean both the CAC and the radiator. Pretty deficient don't ya think?

I'd love to hear the story on this incident. That coach didn't just back over the wall and get that far into the water. It seems like it would take speed and effort to go that far.
Anyone actually know the story ?
