Any feedback on American Guardian Warranty? What to watch for?

We're picking up a 2014 Thor Outlaw 37MD, about 13,000 miles.

I'd like the peace of mind with a warranty, but I have read several threads on this forum about the positives and negs about getting a warranty at all.

Specifically, does anyone have good or bad comments about American Guardian Warranty?

Is there anything that surprised you when you might have made a claim?

In general, what are some of the issues to be aware of?

Don't waste you money. Put your money aside each month for repairs. Had very bad experience with them. Did everything required and they still denied claim. After threatening law suit payed half and returned my payments.

Long story, short version. Used them only once near the end of 7 year 75K miles coverage. AC pully froze, snapped fan belt, engine overheated. They paid their share of the AC compressor repair. Subsequent issues with combustion gasses in coolant directly related to the overheating as a result of the AC pully failure they refused to cover as we had just passed out of the 7 year 75K mile warranty period.

Personally I don't think extended warranties via 3rd parties are worth what they cost.

When I had a policy with them 4 yrs ago I had a claim over the holidays no one at Guardian is in office.. You can go ahead and have the work done (paid by you ) and file a reimbursement claim during business hours.. ( this is stated in the contract ) They will only pay a fraction of the cost saying I over paid the repair facility and it is my fault for paying to much.... and they take weeks to determine there decision to pay or not to pay...
