Any high- end Short Class A's?

My wife and I are looking for a high- end Class A 28 to 32 feet or so (shorter than a prevost bigger than an airstream atlas but similar fit and finish)
everything recent we've seen up to a $300k entegra/ tiffin/ winnebago and such look VERY cheaply made. If the airstream was 28 feet or the prevost was 32, we'd be so happy, thoughts?

p.s. monaco vesta from 2012 looks fantastic to me but it has the maxx force 7 engine that seems troublesome...

What year model range are you looking into?
Diesel or gasser?
There's a decent selection of 30-34' coaches out there.
"High end" models from various manufacturers have indeed been built over the years. Some years are better than others for all builders involved with any particular coach and chassis combo. Sometimes not all years have been good or bad for both at the same time either. Brand new year models do not necessarily mean they are built better than a few years ago from the same manufacturer and sometimes it's the other way around. The RV industry is like a roller coaster over time.
My wife and I are RV junkies and tend to snoop the lots when we have an open weekday. We recently looked at two brand new coaches on the same lot. Same brand and same model. We were amazed at the difference in build quality. You need to find a size and floorplan that you like and judge each unit individually.

Tiffen Allegro Breeze period!

This is the best looking class A too.

Beautiful inside and out for a 32’ coach or look for an old one that’s 28’. Diesel pusher with everything you’d expect from Tiffen. Plus you’ll make me instantly jealous!!

No, no, no...
1964-68 Travco 270's are the best looking and built coaches out there and they are only 27' in length.
A Flxible bus conversion comes in second but could be first depending on builder.
... and let's not forget the GM Futureliners of the 1940's like the one that sold at Barrett Jackson for $4 million dollars.

thanks, looked at those and was very disappointed in the build and material quality. Nothing like a prevost or bluebird lxi which is what we like.

.
the year is less important than the condition; i have to say i looked at a million dollar foretravel and the wood looked like crap compared to a 20 year old beaver marquis, for example. even our airstream land yacht 26 foot class a is better built, solid hard wood, for example.

those are very cool but i don't think going that old is what we want. :-) late 90's and up i think

Foretravel used to make a 34-footer if you're looking for a used coach. We were looking (just looking though) at new ones in the mid-2000s and it seems that they were right around that $500k range out-the-door even at that time and that was a lot of money back then.

But anything recent, I can't think of anything in a Class A.
i think i saw one of those on MOT website but the model was lower with interior that looked very old fashioned. i'll bet it drives great, maybe one that someone has already modernized? we're looking

Prevost and Bluebird are both bus builders. They don't actually do the RV conversion.
I would say look for a Country Coach converted Prevost but you won't find one under 40'.
A high end conversion Flxible bus will run you way more money than a Prevost but the size may be right for you. The trick is to wait for one to come to market. Otherwise you may be shopping for a custom built unit.

Country Coach made very nice 32' diesel pushers in the late '90's early 2000's. Intrigues and Allures. Drives like sports cars I am told and some even were built with larger Cummins diesels.

I will warn you, these are VERY popular Coaches with Racers. Theirs shorter length allows for much longer trailer tow length without overlength concerns, so if you see one you like, move fast or it will be gone. They do command top $$$ if in nice condition.

Good luck with your search.

Yup, Country Coach 32' and/or Foretravel 34' were both high end shorter coaches.

NEWMAR NEW AIRE.....

A luxury coach with high end features, but in a smaller package.
33' or 35' but best small luxury coach in the industry!

Good Luck!

Look at the link Dutch Star Don posted!
