Anybody know what this plug is for?

2018 Forest River Berkshire XL. I bought it used... In the shore power/inverter cabinet under the coach, there is this outlet and a 110v plug next to it. I plugged it in with the generator running, and it loaded the generator a fair amount ( noticeable change in pitch/rpm) so it must be something the draws a decent amount of current. A tank heater maybe? Click image for larger version

Did you try it at night? Maybe it turns on the batman beacon. I'm not going to able to sleep tonight until we figure this out.

It is just a 110 volt outlet. Not a dedicated outlet, but one for power on the outside of your RV.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined us!

I would guess it's for the engine block heater.

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
