Anyone flat tow with the Bounder 35E??

We just purchased an 07 Bounder 35E and hope to flat tow our 2014 MKX, but notice Bounder's hitch height measures a whopping 2'4".

Anyone have this height and still able to flat tow without ripping something off??

Couldn't you use an adjustable height hitch for it?

Here's a photo of my 08 35E. I had to use a 10" drop down receiver. Not an issue if you stay clear of steep driveways.

I have a 2008 35E Bounder and tow 4 down. My first toad was a 2011 Chevy HHR. Bounder hitch is 24 inches and HHR was 12 inches. I used a 8 inch drop hitch adapter with a steel roller on the bottom. If I was nor real careful I would drag leaving my subdivision and at some gas stations. I still have the drop hitch if anyone needs one. My present toad is a 2015 Chevy Colorado. Colorado hitch connection is 23 inches, I worked a deal with Blue Ox, another story.
