That's a piece of history - it's a first generation Custom Coach conversion, and it appears to still have the original interior in great shape. That would clean up really well.

That bus is the grandfather to mine.

What a great project for someone to bring back a piece of RV history. Would be a collectors prize when completed.

I noticed all the internal cabinet doors were on piano hinges. That's dedication to perfection.

Wish there were dashboard / drivers view. The ones I have seen restored seemed cool as heck. I like the drivers window with screen to grab air for driver comfort.
I can see it towing a rat rod to shows as is. Just wouldn't get great welcome at RV resorts.

Looks like someone with a wire welder could have a ball with that, the description says the patch panels are included. And, the vehicle right underneath it in the ad was an MG TD for about $21,000! Talk about a cool toad!! Heck for less than $40,000K you could be styling.

As someone that has owned 1960 and 1961 Chris Craft Connies - I could sure go for that if I had the space. Love it.

I owned a 1966 44' flushdeck Pacemaker and a 1969 32' Pacemaker yachtfisher and I would love this as well if I had the room!

Cool bus! Made the same year I was born! When I was in middle school around 1964, the school was using a Flixible bus to transport kids in a special music program to Elsah, Ill, daily from St. Louis, MO. So the coach was roughly 13 years old. When idling, it had a distinct very slow pant... it would pant every four or so seconds... very unusual and I as a 13 year old was fascinated. Once, I climbed aboard and noticed that the guages, alternator, etc. would swing over each time it panted. It must have had some kind of fuel saving device on it?
