Aqua Hot exhaust extension

Hi all

What are the audience’s thoughts on extending the Aqua Hot exhaust to the opposite side of the coach or just directly to the rear?

Please note that this will only be used when we do not want to have our exhaust system blowing on a fellow camper and their family.

Be safe

I think I would prefer to use a Gen-Turi to get the exhaust up above. Check with Aqua-Hot that it would not affect boiler performance.

We use a Gen-Turi. It works fine, and moves all the exhaust over the roof.

I also agree with genturi. Some Owners a have fabricated their own as well. From what I have read some race tracks require. "all generators" to do similar for CO poisoning reasons.
My AH exhaust has shield as well as fiberglass sock that you also need to consider

Thanks all
I see that this is a well known subject!

I will look into the unit, but I was thinking something very simple like a 12 foot flexible hose just to move the fumes away from the neighbors. It may not be used again for awhile.

Thanks again

Be safe

I have an Aqua-Hot on my 40’ coach, and it exhausts out the rear. The AH unit is in the first compartment just behind the driver side front wheel, so length of the pipe run is not an issue.

Gen-Turi is interesting...do you store it and put it up when at a site and then remove for travel?

It breaks down to about 3 1/2' and comes with it's own storage bag. Easy to store and use.

I used a Genturi on my Anthem AquaHot. You can buy their suction cups to secure the chimney to the side of your RV but these work just as well.
