2011 Ellipse here, but same 450 Aquahot. had a leak with water dripping out the screened vent in the bottom. Turned out to be one of the connections for cold water in, hot water out. This side is hard to get to. There is a small access opening in the rear wall driver side of the storage compartment. I ended up removing the bracket that holds the folding ladder and the panel that was bolted to to get better access to tighten the connections. They had become less than finger tight
Opening this up pretty much gave me access to the entire back side of the Aquahot unit. Still a PITA tho.
So start by taking off the front cover to check the zone pumps and inside connections and also looking into that access hole in the rear wall of the storage compartment and see where it's wet and go from there. Water from a leak can travel a long way from the leak source and leaking water from the backside (plumbing) can get to and out the screened opening in the bottom!
