I suppose a cheap temporary solution is the on demand heater and plumbing a Chinese diesel heater... $300 bucks for both and your cheap free labor.

$10,000 divided by the next 10 yrs isn’t bad.
Think of it as a set of new tires and a window replacement for fogged windows.
It’s one way to rationalize it.
Just my opinion, I know what quality Beavers have and you’re not going to find that today for less than $700,000 new.

Pull it and take it to a good fabricator. There is no reason the rusted part of the tank can't be replaced.

I found several on demand water heaters on Ebay. 115 volt 1500 watts. Less then $125. Check them out, worth a try. Just plug it in, probably have an outlet in the basement.

Rube is alive and well! It's one way to save a little and decrease the coach value by lots more. I wouldn't touch a used coach that was visited by Rube.

The cap on mine looks like wiper fluid tank cap or old school coolant tank. You might have to read some Q & A or reviews on amazon to get an actual measurement of a cap. I might just be me I wouldn't pay $100 for an AH tank even if the tank was bad. I would get a universal no pressure coolant tank .

I agree with the posts suggesting repair/replacement of Aqua-hot. However, the OP ask for recommendations for on demand water heaters. My post recommended some I found on Ebay that would provide hot water while he decides. Also with minimal cost and plumbing would suffice while the Aqua-hot is being repaired/replaced.

Need to get to the Actual Mission here - If just Hot Water then How Much - Couple options come to mind.
Thinking $$$$ and cost might be the focus here. Look at just adding a small under counter Hot water heater where the Aqua Hot is sitting - or just by-pass the AH unit with a few valves and a couple T's -making it, the new tank, your Hot Water Source.
The system just uses Pex so it is actually pretty Easy -
Couple facts that you will need to keep in mind - You need to basically have a 120v unit - simple and easy to plug and play so to speak. Just locate the 120 source that is Hooked to your AH and set it up to plug the under counter heater to it.
Second you need to locate the lines - In Flow - Cold - Out Flow - Hot - get the proper lines to make the connections and you will be good to go.
Simplest would be a couple of or Shark Bite Valves to direct and control the water. Will you be able to take Long unlimited Hot showers - NO - but you will at least be able to use the RV for about $200 - $250 out of pocket.
Few links;
Under Counter 7 gal - https://www.homedepot.com/p/Eccotemp...-7-0/302962987
Shark Bites - https://www.homedepot.com/p/SharkBit...00LF/202270642
or CPVC Valves and Shark Bite coupling - https://www.homedepot.com/p/Homewerk...VE3B/202370055
Last note here - because you are limited to 120v systems you really can't make much more hot water unless you add Propane - then just look for an RV hot water heater - https://www.homedepot.com/p/Homewerk...VE3B/202370055
Best of Luck,

So I got tired of worrying about the Aqua hot and the thought of having to constantly have power going to the unit either as electricity or a diesel furnace so here’s the solution. Locate your hot water supply to the coach plumbing and T it off with a shut off also. Locate the cold supply line and do the same. Now you need to make sure you properly connect the on demand unit and that you have a proper temporary support for the unit as well as a propane source and here you go. Unlimited hot water independent of the Coach systems. Use flexible hose and try to exit the bay through a access port or make your own access port for the exterior plumbing.
Go to Amazon and choose a smaller on demand propane heater that is battery operated, this is a very easy conversion, you still need to be aware of the chance of freezing the on demand unit, either store in a heated bay turned off or protect the unit with heat tape.

Agree, that tank is not pressurized, when I lost mine, just put a piece of aluminum foil on it to prevent evaporation.
