Are all bunks tiny?

I finally got to go see my first bunkhouse model, a Fleetwood 36H. I like the floor plan but the bunks seemed so tiny (I think they are 28"x73"). It felt like my kids, who are small but growing, will outgrow them. So I ask:

1) Do you feel the bunks in your MH, no matter the manufacturer, are quite small?

2) Wondering if I should shift gears and get a non-bunkhouse plan with the upfront overhead drop down bunk and a decent pull out couch.

We did bunks, we didn't want all the clutter throughout the coach. We have a 2016 Georgetown 364ts, the kids like it a lot.

That's the size of most bunks.
When we camp my mother in law sleeps on the bottom bunk and my 24 yo son son sleeps on the top bunk. The top bunk is rated for 350 pounds.

I looked at some used Prevost set up for groups. Those bunks were quite large.

My kids are looking to replace their RV's with larger bunk house models. Some have larger bunks, some are smaller. A few had a larger bunk on the bottom and a smaller one on top for easy climbing to the upper one.

How about taking a look at a Class A toy hauler like the Newmar 3920, 3921 or a Thor Outlaw. Then you get king size bunks!

Our 2018 ordered Newmar Bay Star 3406 has bunks that are 76" long. Thankfully neither my son or daughter are predicted to be overly tall, but I think I am safe that neither will come close to 6' 4" any time soon.
