Push the flush button and the flange opens to flush. But now 1/2 of the time it won’t close without pushing the button again. Water pressure is adequate. Has worked flawlessly for 10 years. Any ideas? Figure I should try and fix it while at home before it stops working altogether.

When is the last time you lubed the seal? Ours seems to work best when I do that maybe once a month, it only takes a couple minutes. Otherwise, zero problems with ours. I use plumbers grease from Home Depot.
You can also try disconnecting power by removing inline fuse for a minute or two and then reinstall fuse. Some times this will reset the control board to function properly again.
