As question

Need some direction. I turn on my generator (7500 onan quite diesel) I put the control mode for 1 and 2 on ac , set temp, can etc. Mode 2 runs (rear air) mode 1 doesn't run. Checked breakers, shut 2 off, 1 still won't run.
Any help will be appreciated.

First has 1 every run or did it just start doing this? Try hooking up to 50A shore power and see if it does the same thing. It is possible the thermostat is where the problem lies.

As a side note at the top of the page is a User CP tab. Go in and under the signature enter your RV information so it will show in your signature as mine does at the end of my post. This will help others know what you have and it will assist in helping you get responses.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Have you done the factory-recommended reset on the thermostat?

If you have the flat, 4-conductor telephone line to the thermostat then the plugs on each end could be corroded. You can unplug and replug them several times to clean the contacts. You do this with the thermostat turned off of course. You will probably have the same cable running between the two A/C units.

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
