At what length does 50amp start?
Looking for a used gasser, 30-33 foot range. Wanted smaller but it seems everything below 30 feet only has one AC unit. 30 feet and longer (I want to stay below 33) is a hit and miss for 50amp/2 AC's. Is there any standard length the builders use for switching from 30amp to 50amp? Anyone maybe have a list of unit's in that length that do in fact have 2 AC's/50amp?

At 30 feet, why would you need 2 AC units ????
I have a 24 ft trailer, 1 13.5AC, cools fine in low 90 degree temperature...

The 30 DA came standard with a small generator, one 13,000 btu A/C, propane only water heater and 30 amp service.
I ordered the 50 amp upgrade for the 5,500 watt Onan, 15,000 btu A/C-heat pump, Electric/propane water heater and the option to add another A/C in the future. 15 years later and we never thought a second A/C was necessary.
The only standard is what they order for inventory and they think they can move ASAP. The lower end options keep the sale price lower.
if it has 50 amp and two A/C's and under 33 feet it was probably special ordered and not likely to be on the market anytime soon.

PS: our A/C is ducted so when we want the bedroom cool to cold we close all the forward vents and close the hallway door.

If you look at a Jayco Greyhawk, it has 2 AC units and 30 amps. The AC units are each 11,500 btu and each unit draws 8.5 amps if memory serves me. You can also run the microwave at the same time because it's 800 watts(again if I remember right). and the Greyhawk is 32 foot. The reason I know is I own one. At 32 feet you do need two AC's. The industry standard is anything 27 foot or longer should have 2 AC's, but that standard is widely ignored, so they save money on the unit and keep the price lower. If electrical demand gets too high the electrical system does have the ability to shed load if it needs to. But I've never needed it to do that.

I think you will find that many over 33 ft will have two AC’s but not always 50 amp unless they are newer. I had a 33 ft Airstream Land Yacht MH that had 2 but 30 amp shore service except the gen could run both.
My 30-31 ft mh has only one AC and if parked in direct sun in the summer gets hot so we find shady spots, and use plenty of reflecting material in all windows.

You been in the deep south in August? 30 feet is 25% more space to cool than your unit.

My my is 33 feet, ( actually 34 ) and has 2 AC units and 50 amps and it is not a newer one. In the summer heat and upper 90's it will keep it comfortable inside in the mid 70's. If you happen to be working inside, it is a little hot. When my 13.5's wear out I will be going to 15K units or 3 11K units.
Motorhome hvac systems are not home systems and tend to run more and cycle more.

I have no idea of what part of the country you are in, but I am fairly certain it is NOT Dallas. I have been on Dealer's lot with both ACs running for good 2 hours but could not cool down a 29ft coach. Sure if the AC was running overnight or turned on early morning it could prolly sustain, but for Texas heat I went for power.

We have owned our 2019 Winnebago 29VE for only 2 1/2 weeks; but this subject I am expert on. We spent a little over a year before we finally bought what we think is the perfect all around coach.
I had to have a coach less than 30' 6 " to fit into our driveway, I had to have 2 AC's, I had to have full size bed without slide extended (no flip up), had to have outdoor TV, had to have outside kitchen, had to be prewired with HDMI with splitter.
We live just north of Dallas and the heat is unbearable during the summer. I looked at lots of options where a 2nd AC could be added; but it was a non starter every time. I would never buy a coach with a plan to add a 2nd AC
The only coaches that fit to the tee my requirements were the Adventurer and the 29VE that we bought. The Adventurer is the better upgrade choice, but we actually like some things in the 29VE better than the Adventurer. At $20k more; it was a no brainer for us, but if you like full body paint, a fancy stove and dinette table go with the Adventurer. The one thing I did like about the Adventurer is it came with AGS. But I have purchased a EC-30 AGS and the wiring harnesses for about $500. If I can find someone to install, I will have the perfect coach for us.
Both coaches are 30' 3" with 50 amp and two ACs and digital controls. We don't have to run both, but it is nice to start up the coach with both at full blast to cool it down. Since it is ducted, you can actually close the bedroom door, the vents in bedroom and it will blow all of that cold air to the front to really help it cool down faster.
Other coaches with 2 ACs under 30' that we looked at but passed on.
1. ACE 29.3
2. Hurricane/Windsport 27B
3. Hurricane/Windsport 29M
4. Coachman Pursuit
