Angry Attwood Instant Hot water heater

Our coach is in the repair shop as instant hot water heater not working. Dealer said it needs 3 parts but are unable to get them because Attwood is closed down due to Covid-19. Anyone else have this problem? Going on a month of not being able to use.

Atwood parts are available from multiple sources and the dealer is probably not hunting around much, just ordering from his usual distributors. Unfortunately, parts for the On-Demand heater aren't as common as the tank types. Find out what parts are needed and look at online sources such as PPL Motorhomes Parts, Amazon, Ebay, etc. But maybe the dealer won't want to install parts that you supply - many will not.

Buy yes, often parts distributors or factories are shut down or on reduced schedules due to Covid-19. I recently waited 3 months to get one additional piece of laminate to finish remodeling our kitchen cabinets. Normal order time is 10-14 days.

Hello FalconEddie,

I agree with Gary RVroamer. Find out what parts you need to acquire them yourself. Ask the dealer if they would install them. If not, pay that "Clown Dealer" and call a good RV mobile tech. They will work with you.
