Atwood electric leveling jacks.

I cannot get the elecetric leveling jacks to operate. They are in the up position. Both a red and green light are blinking beside the front, drivers side jack. I have tried resetting it per the manual, but with no luck. Is there anyone who has had a similar problem or are there resources available somewhere (the help line number does not wok.)

There was a change in the procedure to reset it that didn't make it into the manual. I think the web site did get changed, but not sure. When we had that system we had that issue and had to reset. If the number isn't working a dealer should have the direct tech number. They were super helpful once we could talk with them. If I remember correctly we had to find the junction box where all the wires come together and unplug them for a few minutes then do the reset at the keypad.

To do a total reset they told me to disconnect all the power connections in the control panel for one minute, then reconnect. On my '07 Newmar KSDP the control unit was on a little shelf in the fuse compartment outside, under the drivers seat.

FYI.....when you mess with the controller, you can have the thing just dump air at random. I had a control board failure and the warning horn was blaring. Took it to the shop, to just disconnect it. When the kid was backing it out of the shop it started to dump( should have seen the look on his face ).

it will not dump air if you disconnect the two small wire plugs
