Atwood Jack Replacement
We are traveling from Spokane to Chicago by October. My LevelLegs jacks have stopped working. I am not interested in trying to repair them myself and would prefer to find a shop to repair/replace them. I would rather not have to go to Moscow IA or Elkhart, but that's an option. We have no campsites booked after 7/25/21. Most shops seem to be scheduling service out at least a month. So, we could make it to almost anywhere on the route. Any suggestions?

Probably there are not any repair parts available.
We replaced ours with HWH hydraulic levelers. We added HWH added to our first motor home. Second had them and our third had Level Legs. While this is probably our last motor home, we would never get one with anything but HWH. We have had some minor troubles with HWH nothing like with the Level Legs. 3 power control modules at $525 each, one motor replacement and one complete leg replaced. Should have replaced them with HWH when the first power module failed. Hindsight is great.

Quadra BigFoot - hydraulic up AND down - no springs, flawless and incredibly strong - you'd love them.
ONLY HAVE THEM INSTALLED AT THEIR FACTORY - it'd be worth it - much less expensive and competent. Believe me, I know as I had mine installed by RnRRV in Liberty Lake WA. Their "Quadra Specialist" did not know proper fastener selection (washers, nuts, bolts), proper electrical connections (stud size versus connector size), how to secure/run electrical wires (just wrap it around moving stuff - forget using zip ties, etc.) or even how to clean up metal and plastic shavings as well as overflowed hydraulic fluid from all over my coach batteries and lastly, the specialist used flat head screws to fasten the control panel and threw away the Quadra supplied pan head screws, thus distorting the control panel and exposing the circuit board as the bevel on the flathead screws sunk into the plastic faceplate - not once, but for all four corners. Thank goodness Quadra stood behind their product and replaced the parts the "specialist" destroyed. A return trip to RnRRV resulted in an ADULT overseeing the correction of the multitude of sins.
Am I being subtle?
Quadra is located about 60 miles East of Chicago at 305 U.S. 131 South, White Pigeon, MI 49099

Thanks. Sounds like replace them with hydraulic and go to the factory. In most reviews of different jacks everyone has their favorite. Most common comment is “Boy am I glad that I got ride of the levellegs.”

Another vote for Quadra Big Foot jacks. They are a few miles north east of Elkhart and 127 miles from the Loop.
Did a driveway install way back in 2013. Had two jacks rebuilt due to internal leak by (little over $300 material and local labor) but otherwise no other problems with the system.

If it's minor repair why wouldn't you try.
Blow fuse. Low fluid. Connection loose. Dirt on a leg.
Waiting a month for service?
Did you try a mobile mechanic?

If we were not full time, I probably would try. The problem is with a single leg motor not shutting off when retracting. On instructions from Tiffin service we dismounted the exterior (mounted in bay) control box and disconnected two leads. We then ordered a replacement leg from Tiffin. They sent us the 2 1/2" square leg that was typical of 2008 gassers. In 2008, the Allegro Bay was built in both a FED and 8.1 Chevy. Our rig requires the heavier 3 1/2" square leg, common on FED. Tiffin was out of stock on the leg we wanted and no future replacements will be available from them or Lippert. As I researched repair on the web, people had a variety of problems, fix one and a new problem crops up. I owned a machine shop and like tackling problems, but this seemed like pulling on a thread and watching the whole thing unravel.
