Atwood Leveleg 66280 replacement leg

I hit a speed bump at an RV park and bent my right-rear jack.

It's still straight and will actually level the coach, but it's angled back about 10-20 degrees.

Does anyone know where to get a replacement leg, or a leg that would be a bolt-in replacement?

Worst case, I guess I could unbolt it and have it welded on straight, but I'd prefer a bolt-on replacement.

There are three options I would use.

First is the largest RV salvage yard in the country. They have everything and ship. https://colawrvsalvage.com/

There is also the classified section on this site that may has some.

Last is eBay, which also has them regularly.

Thanks, but that link doesn't work and I can't tell what site you're referring to.

All you have is a bent bracket - any welding shop/body shop should have the equipment to pull off the leg and straighten the bracket - probably an hour's work IMO.

I think you said you could remove it - in which case, bring it to a shop and have them straighten it and you can reinstall as long as the holes still line up. (sketch a diagram of the holes on the frame - include dimensions so if the shop has to cut off the orignal bracket they'll know where to put the new holes).

Let us know how you make out.

I'd pull the keg and have it straightened. Easy to remove.
Four nut and bolts and disconnecting the cable.
Once off remove the motor/transmission. You should then be looking at two screwjacks with a gear on the top of each one.
Pulling the gears straight up you should then see the pins that engage with the gears. Remove the pins and the leg will drop out the bottom.
Problem with these legs;
Those pins break and the leg will drop and won't retract.
Once removed you can have the leg straightened.
One other concern of mine;
Note the plate the two screwjacks thread thru on that lower leg. That plate is only peened at each corner! That plate puts the weight of the coach on those 4 peened locations. I pulled all four of my legs and had the plates stick welded in 4 corners.

Not too bad a jack system. Just have to be careful and baby the jacks. Mine have been trouble free four 4 years and 30k miles.

I think I may be able to straighten it out myself with a come-along or my big Pony pipe clamps.
