Atwood levelegs keypad

We have a 2009 Allegro Bay Motorhome. During our last trip the Atwood LEVELEGS keypad started to flicker while driving and then turned off. When we arrived at the campground and tried to extend the jacks the keypad would not turn on. Has anyone had this issue? If so, how did you resolve the problem?

I have the Atwood Levelegs system on my 2008 Baystar. The control pad can be problematic. You say it was flickering while driving... if that is correct, try removing the pad (four screws) and reseating the connecter on the back of the board. The system should be off when you do this. Then try the power on button to see if it works. I would not recommend driving with the system powered up. Also, the control buttons can become intermittent. Sometimes just pressing the button several times will clear the contacts.
Let us know if that works for you.

Thanks for the quick response. We have taken the key pad off, cleaned the connectors, and checked the power to the house batteries, but we still had no power on the keypad. Is there a way to test the key pad?

Do you have the Levelegs manual? Are you saying you verified power was coming from the house batteries to the keypad connector? On my Tiffin, I would have to have the engine running, trans in park and park brake set for the keypad to have power. There is also supposed to be a 3amp inline fuse when the MH signal wire was installed. There also mention of a circuit breaker or fuse from the controller to battery. Do you have access to the control board as well as the keypad?

Yes there is power to the control pad and the control board. I am thinking we might have a bad controller board.
