Atwood leveling jack broke

Good morning everyone, My buddy has an 06 Bounder with the Atwood leveling jacks. one rear jack stopped working.

Looked on u tube on how to repair. He took it apart and found a gear split in two and the drive pin has stress cracks. Atwood discontinued the system, and rightfully so, junk and small jacks for such a large lift. NO PARTS

Has anyone had this issue and if so did you find placement parts? It seems to me unless he finds the parts, he has three options. 1. replace with a new and very expensive system or 2. perhaps try and find a machine shop to have something (stronger material) made or 3. find a used one and wait until it fails.

Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

Stay safe and healthy!
