Auto Leveler Pinging
Is there a way to silence the “pinging” during auto leveling?

I didn’t realize there was an oil reservoir. Where is it located?

The oil reservoir doesn't have anything to do with the warning ping. That is just telling you the jacks are deployed. Look under the dash for a round, black object with some holes in the front. That is a piezo warning buzzer which can be toned down by turning the cover to make the holes smaller. To totally silence it (which is not recommended since it's warning the jacks are down) you can cover it with black electrical tape.

Why would you want to silence a warning? What system do you have? Hwh or Rva?

I've had hydraulic levelers from 2 different manufacturers, both had low oil alarms. Neither had an alarm that went off while they were leveling. Why would you need one to tell you that?

To help eliminate one of the stupid drivers tricks. More than one coach has been moved without the leveler legs retracted, even with that annoying beeping distracting them. Most of the time it does not work out so well. I am in agreement with Lt. Dan. I have never seen, on motor coaches, a hydraulic quantity low level audio warning system. Could be, but I have never read of or seen such an animal. On jets, yes. Disabling any warning system on any vehicle is usually not the smartest idea. Better to correct the issue that is triggering the warning. It is usually the less expensive option.
Happy Trails!

It alarms DURING LEVELING, not when the jacks should have been STORED.
Viking Wave- to find it turn the levelers on and listen for the pump, follow the sound.

If the engine is running as you level (and some now recommend that to assure good power), the leveler would probably sound the "jacks down" alarm as it deployed.

I had to read through this thread a couple of times to make sure I understood what the complaint was and the recommendation to fix it.
I think many, including me thought he was complaining about the jacks down alarm. However, I think Argosy has it right, the alarm shouldn't sound while Auto Leveling.
It might just be that it is low on oil. If so, you need to identify your jack brand and find their procedure for topping off the tank. If that isn't the issue, the OP needs to move to a diagnostic investigation.
Note:....I've never owned a Tiffin product so maybe someone might come along and say their coach also alarms when leveling.
Lastly, you can't AUTO LEVEL my coach with the engine running. In AUTO LEVEL mode the air has been dumped and running the engine would cause it to try and air up.

My 2022 Tifffin 40IP requires the ignition to be on in order to level. If I use the jacks to level, the jacks down alarm will ding.

The HWH system on the Phaetons may be a bit different from some, but as soon as one pair of jacks start down the alarm will start dinging and it's extremely loud as installed from the factory. It will continue to ding until the coach levels and the ignition is turned off. Turning the face of the alarm closing some of the vent holes will turn the volume down to an acceptable level but I don't recommend totally muting it. The way the HWH system on the Tiffin coaches works it will dump the air and level the coach with the engine running. Tiffin says level the coach before deploying the slides, which is opposite of Newmar. The air bags won't reinflate until the Auto Store button is pressed or the parking brake is released.
