Auto park not disengaging

I have a 2002 Georgie Boy Landau and it will not go into gear. It appears the Auto Park is not disengaging. Appreciate any help.

Lots of information about the autopark system to be found here.

Are you saying that the shift lever is stuck in N or other or are you saying that the coach won't move when in gear?

The transmission won't engage. I think a switch or solenoid is not engaging to allow xmission to engage. Checked the yellow switch on left side of driver, it's ok. Not stuck in any gear, just won't disengage parking brake to allow shifting.

I think you have something else going on, since the brake can't release until it's put in drive, whereby activating a sw, starting the pump and forcing the spring to collapse.
The yellow knob does the same thing as putting the tranny in park, which is essence kills power to the pump and whereas the actuator spring releases and sets the brake. Yellow knob won't keep you from shifting either. It just won't allow you to move, when you're in drive, if the brake is holding properly.

Crawl down under and disconnect the rods from the tranny, to see if it's locked up or other and just for beginners.

Bart,

The Autopark fails in "BRAKE ON" mode so you may have this situation. Have you crawled under your motorhome and verified the Autopark switches are not leaking?. These are commonly known as the Rotten Green Switch and Rotten Brown Switch. Roger Haag (AKA Old Used Bear), the acknowledged autopark expert, has apparently ended his wonderful free service due to age but I can email his diagnostic procedure to you if you send me your address by IRV2 private message.

I had a Seabreeze P30 chassis with that system. Had that happen a couple times, was the 10 amp fuse under steering wheel to the left side. Also as said above, replace Rotten Green Switch. You can find them on Amazon.
