Auto Transmission

Can someone help me how to determine the type of auto tranny behind my 454 in a 1987 P-37 MH chassis. Rear suspension is a Granning Tag with air bags.
Thanks

Hi Halver

I believe for a 1987 model with a 454 engine that your transmission 400 (GM), especially if it is a 3 speed or 3 speed with overdrive. The 454 engine with 400 trans is very reliable and common for that year. I had a 1984 tag axial Holiday Rambler 33ft with the same combo.

Enjoy your 1987 P-37
