Avanti freightliner steer problem

Trouble with steering of my front end diesel freightliner 2011 Avanti by Damon. When I release the steering wheel it wanders all over the road. I have taken it in to the local freightliner place and they say nothing is wrong. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or maybe it is just how these things steer. I have thought of getting a super steer bell crank I saw in a camping world ad. Appreciate any advice. Driving for long distances wears me out. Thanks.

It sounds like an alignment problem. In particular the castor adjustment should keep the steering in the direction you are traveling. If you asked the dealer if there was anything wrong with the equipment they may say no. If you asked if it was aligned properly they may say no. They don't cover alignment under warranty.

Two suggestions:

#1, Call 1-800-FTL-Help, 24/7

#2, Log into the IRV2 freightliner chat room any Wednesday evening at 9PM EST and ask those in attendance. It may surprise you what other experienced owners will have to say. They could have had the same problem and have the fix.....
