Awning is frozen
I have a 2015 thor polazzo. My awning is stuck almost closed. I cannot find the awning control box which I have been told has a blown fuse. Any idea where this control box is?
Thanks in advance

Not familiar with your rv but mine is in the overhead cabinet just behind the awning, there is a wall panel inside that must be removed to access awning controls.

Thoroughly search as described above, but on many newer coaches, they're mounted on the wall of one of your bays. Look for a black or silver box, possibly with LED's on it and one or two connectors. It may have a label with the same brand name as your awning on it.

You didn't say which model of Palazzo. Did you check the fuse for the awning on the main 12v fuse panel near the converter? (on a 33.2, 33.3 that is fuse M)
I would suspect that control box, if it has a fuse, is in the compartment behind the main control panel over the door.

Mine is a 36.1. I am beginning to suspect I don't have a control box.

I suggest you call Thor Customer Service. They can tell you quickly if there is a control box (I don't think there is) and which fuse to check for the awning. It is also possible that either the switch or motor has failed, which you could check with a volt meter.
You can register for online access to specifics for your coach at this url:

At the foot of the bed, next to the 110 panel.

The fuse is there at the foot of the bed on the 12volt fuse panel, but the control box is not. if there is even a separate control box which is questionable.
OP is another newbie who asks a question then never comes back to let us know if the problem was resolved.

I have called a repair company which is not able to come yet because it has been raining every day since I called them. I will post the resolution when the problem is found.

awning is frozen/fixed
My frozen awning was caused by multi shorts in my wire running from the awning motor to a distribution center behind a panel in the wall beside the passengers seat. The wire had not been secured in the awning arm therefore the elbow was pinching the wire and caused a number of shorts. The entire wire was replaced.

Thank you for the follow-up message, and I'm glad the technician was able to trace down the source of the failure.

On my Thor the switch stopped working it was not a fuse, there was power to the awning is in the wall cabinet facing the awning. there is a switch out in the awning if it is Carefree. I had to rewire mine to get it work, wired direct to the awing motor with an in and out switch that is in the bed room. I have had trouble with Thor wiring, lost one complete circuit.
