Awning light glue

My 2017 35K Bounder, has a carefree awning with lights that are attached with glue that is melting and running down the sided of my coach. Anyone have same experience, and if so what and do you clean and what do you use.

There is a product called Goo Gone that I have used to remove glue from stick on lights and labels. Goo Gone wont damage your paint.

WD -40 Is safe as well great for road tar .You can spray on rag or in cap and brush it as not to get all over.
I used to wipe my old TT aluminium siding with WD-40 gallon liquid looks great for 6 months .
