awning sizes

On our old 24'TT I installed a huge 21'x8' awning(smoking deal on CL). because it was 8' off the ground the 8' long seemed very nice, it was like 6'6" off the ground on the low side. The shade was great. My DP the 28'x8' awning seems short. does anyone know if I can order a 10' or 12' canvas?? It just feels like it is lacking with the high side being 13' in the air and the low side being like 11'.

I have read your post multiple times and I can't understand what you are asking. You have a 28 foot awning and are asking if you can order a 10 or 12 foot material. What is the purpose? Do you want to extend the awning length or are you talking about a sun shade that hangs from the awning tube? If so there are plenty out there. Do a search for awning sun shades.

I don't think the arm's on an electric powered awning will allow for another 2-4'.

You might look into something like this https://toughtopawnings.myshopify.co...privacy-panels

Not sure how compatible it is with electric awning mechanisms.

instead of it only extending 8 feet from the side on the coach I would like it to extend 10 or 12 feet from the side of the coach. it is not an electric awning so that's not an issue.
