Backup Camera Issue

So, I'm new to MH'ing and the first problem is the backup camera. The system is a Voyager VOM-78. When connected to shore power I have picture and sound. When engine is started the monitor goes to a blank screen but I do have sound. Is there anyone who may have insight as to what might be wrong. Or what I'm doing with power setup that would cause the blank picture?

Thanks

There should be a mode button on the monitor. Normally the screen is dark unless put in Reverse, when driving. With the mode button you can set for pic all the time

Thanks for all the help. I have been missing in action lately and just getting back to the MH. I fired her up last week and the backup camera/TV is working again. I really didnt do anything but start and engage transmission and put in park. So not sure if this Bounder has gremlins living in it.
Any thoughts?
