I would suggest for you to first do your own homework, and maybe you have, to at least narrow down your own choices.
Also, tell everyone about your coach and perhaps you’ll get some hands on information that will fit your needs.
And welcome to the forum.

Country road, I took your advice and refined my superficial search trying to match my specific needs. I am older and brand new to driving a class A motor home so I need as much help as possible until I get "Broke in". I just bought a 2006 National Seabreeze LX 34'with a lot of maintenance to be done by me (median level of mechanical ability) so I am going to need a lot of coaching.
My biggest concern was navigating city streets as to lane changing and clearances. I am more confident on the interstate but I want to always be able to see while driving my relationship to other drivers.
Final choice: Halo view Byte Tango 1080p observation camera ($677).This has back up and two marker cameras in addition I wanted a rear/forward camera to check my roof overhangs. Specs are excellent to give me maximum sight lines
Second choice 7"Furrion vision S 4 camera system with LED marker lights $1,176. Specs were not as good as halo view .
I chose Halo view due to specs and price.
If anyone has pros and cons on these two systems let me know.
Thanks,
Louis

When your MH is all loaded and ready to go camping, lay a 2x4 level on the roof air conditoner to where you can measure from the ground/garage floor to the top of the 2x4. Write down that measurement on a post-it note on the dash within your vision area. (that extra 2" allows for vehicle height variations.
Check that note every time you are approaching an underpass or any overhead object, even after reading the signage stating the clearance.
It will not take long to train yourself to always be aware of your Vehicle height and automatically scan ahead for potential overhead obstacles.
Along with that will come the - plan ahead for alternate actions thinking.
That said, there are a large number and styles of rear cameras; beginning with hard-wired or wireless camera systems.

Thank you Ray In
Do you think the wired or wireless are better?

Lou, I have a Voyager wireless rear camera, no others. My wireless works fine,I did have a poor ground one time that caused intermittent loss of camera power.
Installing the wireless system was easier, but I think the hard-wired is more reliable, even though it is more work to install.
