I'm pretty sure it is fraud, getting caught is one thing but the downside is that the penalties are very, very steep up to and including prison time. Is it really worth the risk for a couple of thousand dollars? Not in my book.

Is the coach insured now? May be just a matter of getting it (the windshield) replaced. Most states seem to have no deductible on windshields.

Just a thought.

Why not negotiate price with the seller based on items found?
If you decide to move forward with the purchase...or keep looking

Just my thought,
Greg

I agree 100%. Either have the tires/windshield replaced by the seller or reduce price accordingly. (I’d go with the latter so you can choose how repaired and what tires go on it)

Relative to the floor, If not comfy on your own it’s defiantly worth it paying for a RV inspection and make sure the inspector knows to research the soft spot. They will go over the whole rig, and while nothing is guaranteed, they could very well find other items needing attention.

There may be a false floor under sink pry it up look for signs of water damage from sink area under and on false panel. Smack dab middle of kitchen floor with no ceiling damage ,not a spot you you would normally find wood rot.

We did it.

Well, the Princess informed me that we would be getting this Holiday Rambler Admiral, so thinking quickly, I did as I was told.
The windshield is repairable according to a specialist, so... whew!
The "soft spot" seems to be a transition between panels.
Thank you all for your help and wish me luck!
