The centermatics use more weight than the balance masters so the ability to balance the assembly is grater, the balance masters do not make noise.

I thought i read the opposite. BM’s have more weight than the centramatics. [emoji848]

I’ve had the balance beads added at each new tire install. Cheap, effective, trouble free, noise free.

Balance Masters auto tire balancers.
I have the Centramatics all around as well. The balls are immersed in oil and I have not heard any noise from them at all.
I would be concerned about using mercury. How do you dispose of them if you ever need to? If they leak, is it a bio-hazard that you would be responsible for?

I have the Centramatics installed on my 4X4 truck (I'm running 37" tires.). Those discs are not oil filled. I can hear the media moving in the disc when the discs are in my hand (being installed) - but, of course, I can't hear anything while driving.

Well actually they do make a small noise at speeds under 25 mph, they make a shoush sound till you get over 25 mph, however you cant hear it from inside the RV..
But those outside near you will hear it.

Not sure if the smaller ones are different than the truck version, however this is straight from the FAQ section of Centramatics website:
Our balancing media consists of two parts. Part one is durametal, a hardened alloy similar to shot but 10 times harder. This is primary media, as a solid cannot change shape or form under centrifugal force. It remains exactly where needed under high speed. Part two, the dampening fluid is proprietary synthetic oil, designed to operate in the most extreme environments. The rings are about 1/3 full of this fluid. Its function is to lubricate, dampen vibration and help balance. However, a liquid alone would merely flatten out under centrifugal force at high speed and be forced back around the ring to an undesirable position. That’s why we use the benefits of both solid and a liquid.

Not only do they remove vibrations front and rear, but take the vibrating stress out of the rear end.
With using beads, you cannot transfer them when you replace the tires. The Centramatic System is transferrable to a vehicle with the same wheel diameters. There was a noticeable difference after installing mine.

I run centramatics on my rig now. I spin balanced my tires but had a slight vibration in the steering wheel at around 60 to 65 MPH. I had the tires looked at multiple times, removed and spun on the rim, and re balanced and the vibration was still there. Installed the centramatics and all vibrations gone, It also makes the front end feel completely planted which I wasn't expecting.
For those saying they make no noise, you either never drive with your windows open or you may want to get your hearing checked. They definitely make noise until around 20 to 30 MPH.
