from WA State!
I have experiene with two Banks systems, one on a '98 460 snd the last on a '02 ISC 350. Neither of which is what you're asking about.
But I will say I didn't notice any gain in MPG but they sure did help the driveability.

I have the same question. Not so much concerned about the cost or payback time but whether or not the system resulted in a significant improvement climbing long grades.

I have installed the Banks Power pack on two different RV. First on a Class A 32' Columbus by Thor with 454 Chev engine. Mileage increase by 2 miles per gallon when kept between 55 and 60 not much increase above 65. Great increase in performance. The second one was on a Big 32 foot Conquest by Gulfstream with a Ford V-10. Increase on mileage about 1 mile per gallon at any speed. The performance increase was incredible. Zero to 60 5 seconds less, passing 18 wheeler at 70 in 12 seconds all while pulling a 10,000 lb. cargo trailer. On the V-10 we also added a shift kit which made a big difference. Banks was very helpful as I made the install.

Banks says 50 to60 hp 60 to 70 lbs torque. So far from other discussion sites it 50 /50 as to wheather others would do it again

Banks system
We added the Banks Power system to our 2004 35ft Winnebago Adventurer with a 8.1 chevy .
We loved the power it provided, we could go over the Grapevine in CA (which is a long & steep road on hwy 99) we passed all the big rig trucks and went over that road doing 60+ mph. We would add that to another gas powered RV if we were to purchase one-- we currently have diesel. We did not notice a mpg increase, but power was definitely there.
