Basement drawer fasteners

If you have one if those handy basement drawers that will slide out either side, you may want to check to be sure the fasteners are tight, including the 3 or 4 small bolts that secure the latch mechanism. If those loosen and fall out, your drawer may not make the next curve or corner with you. And the basement door latch is no obstacle. Best case, you will need some serious help lifting it back in place (don't ask me how i know this!). Worst case, I shudder to think...

When the frame and all come loose the retaining pin between slide and frame is useless.

That's definitely equally important. My frame/support for the drawer seems to rock left to right about 1/16th to 1/8th inch, as if over time the bolts have chafed the holes that are drilled thru the pan. I'm not sure what to do to to repair that...
