Always thought they were a waste of space till we got one! Yup, we are converts, bath and a half is the only way to travel.

Have bath and 1/2 coach and for us it is perfect. We spend 4 to 6 months a year in the coach and fid us we prefer it over the extra space. Others prefer the space. Good that we have these choices.

Our coach is a bath and a half model. We travel with 2 small dogs that we pen in while we are away from coach. Even with their kennels our coach has plenty of space for the two of us. Granted we have a big coach but just wanted to chime in that the floor space in not "that" precious at this size.

Now the half bath is a bit small for me and I try not to have to use it. Wife does use it by choice at times. Also as pointed out above it's the only one we can get to easily with slides in.

We really like the huge shower we can have this way and the rear closet! I can lay our 2x3ft fence panels we use in the coach for the dogs flat on the floor of the shower. One additional thing to consider is getting to the engine from the top and heat coming off the engine. All things equal the area over the engine will be warmer when you stop for the day.

Spent two months in a single bath and said if we upgraded it would be a bath and a half. Well we upgraded to a bath and a half and have no regrets. Half Bath mid coach is great for us.

We are on our second bath and a half coach and that was a requirement for us when we ordered the new one. Happy wife, happy life!

The other nice thing about the half bath in some plans is the placement of the TV and fireplace on the half bath wall with a sofa opposite. If and when we upgrade to a newer coach I am nearly positive it will be a bath and a half model. Gives wife her own sink and mirror while I'm getting ready and showering.

Happy with our bath-and-a-half coach. We actually tend to leave the rear bath open, and mostly use the half bath toilet. With a full wall slide on one side, and a slide that includes bed and rear bath sink and toilet on the other, it really opens up the back bath area. There is a sliding door, but we seldom close it. The rear bath is used mostly just for showers and a dressing area (since the closet is there), plus DW's primping space.

All I can say is "If momma isn't happy no body is happy" Bath and half is a great way to keep everyone happy. If you are going to be on the road for a while the ability to have separate bath rooms will be greatly appreciated.

Since it is just two of us, a mid coach bath works well for us as full timers. We are generally in campgrounds, so we can use the campground restrooms if the need arises. Our daytime guests seem to use the campground facilities even if our bath is available to them (maybe they want the extra privacy or maybe they are trying to be polite, doesn't matter why). We do not generally host overnight guests in the rv. I am glad we only have one black and one grey tank. We like our relatively compact size. Different styles suit different people.

We full time in a 45' rig and this way we get a larger front area and kitchen. Also no macerater toilet. Straight drop into black tank.

This all confirms what we have seen and heard so far. Our ideal preference for an 1-1/2 bath is the Newmar DS4369. For the mid-bath it is the Entegra Anthem 44DLK. We really liked the Tiffen 37/40AP up until we spent a bunch of time in one. The DW clearly decided she wanted the TV directly across from her sitting area, as she has neck mobility issues.

When we pull the trigger, this will be our second home/land Yacht, with all the comforts she would otherwise get in a Hyatt or JW Marriott. The DW currently spends 60+% of her time traveling out of a suitcase, and a large part of the attraction is being at home while traveling.

We look forward to additional comments.

We full time in probably the shortest rig for a bath and a half, at just 38'. For the two of us plus dog, it works really well. When we were shopping we thought the half bath was a total waste of space but after living in it for a while it is much better. I get up early in the morning and she likes to sleep in, so I can close the door to the bedroom and not bother her.

Also when boondocking, we use the half bath exclusively because it's not a macerator. Gives us options.

And when you both had the double bean burrito with extra guac last night, that half bath is worth its weight in gold!

"Surprising.......Those that own a bath a half love them (mostly likely owned a single bath coach in the past) and those who don't have a bath and a half have a negative opinion about them......who'd a thunk!

Bath and a half for us to. For all the reasons cited above. At home my wife and I each have our own bathrooms (Thank you, kids, for growing up and moving out!) Having that half bath mid-coach is great (as others mention, the full in the rear is a difficult access with the slides in...)
