I checked everything and did not see any loose wires. I even removed
the batteries so I could see better and take some photos. I am not sure what the green connector is ??? I do not have a cut off switch, other than
the use/ store switch on my monitor panel. As said recommended above, I
will try to find the solenoid by finding out where the clicking comes from.
Thanks,
Russ

Try looking in the electrical bay where your power cord is for the BIRD relay. I'm not familiar with the gas chassis so not much help.

Nothing in the bay except for the ATS and converter.

Turn the batteries on and check voltage. If you turn them to store you most likely won't get the converter/charger power to the batteries. If you have a bird system and it is working once the house batteries are near full the chassis battery will get a charge.

Good Evening;
What batteries are in the photo provided?
It appears that they are connected in series (+ to - )(the short jumper) with the positive (red) cable connected to + on one battery and the negative (black) cable connected to - on the other battery
If they are 6V Batteries then together they will provide 12VDC, but if they are 12V Batteries then they are creating 24VDC
Take a look at it and let us know
Good Luck

You can see that they have 3 cells per battery by the 3 cell caps. That means, at 2 volts per cell, they are 6 volt batteries.
They would need to be connected in series, as they are, for 12 volt service.

Well, I found the problem and it was a mistake on my part. I got many
links and pdf files from you guys and I really appreciate it. Thanks !
When I cleaned up the RV, I switched the Intellitec monitor to store and
then plugged in the shore power. When I do that, the "in use" red light
comes on and also my Sony dash radio......I thought this was normal.
I read in some of the documents that you must have the monitor switch set to "in use", not "store" for the charger to work. As soon as I switched to "in use", the voltage at the batteries read 12.7 and after many hours was reading 13.1. Looks like my charging issue was caused by me .
Thanks to everyone for all your help !
I do have one more question, In looking at a possibly bad Iota converter,
I see they have a module to upgrade to a 4 stage smart charger. This module only costs $17 and plugs right in. Is there any reason NOT to do this ?
Thanks again,
Russ

The Bird and solenoids are under the hood, high on the firewall. Looks
like they would be a pain to work on. Have you considered The IOTA IQ4
smart charger upgrade for your converter? ($17 shipped)

I haven't, what advantage does it offer as I am not familiar with it?

IOTA Product Specifications
Looks like much better control of the charging process. Easy to install, just plugs into your existing converter.
