Battery Disconnect Switch Issue

I have a 2001 Fleetstorm and the Aux. Switch over the door is not making the clicking noise when you flip it on or off, so nothing works. The interesting part is I had no clicking noise. My wife went out not knowing flipped the switch to the on position and the lights went on. After a couple of minutes they went off and the disconnect switch won't turn on again. I need some help hear on where to start. Is it the switch, the solenoid or something else. We leave in 30 days on a trip, but I won't be able to if I have no house power.

If you mean the "domestic 12V power switch", (aka: "salesman switch") the most common "fix" is BYPASSING that switch.

Google "salesman switch".... or "bypassing salesman switch" for more information.

There are two switches above the door. One is for the Coach and one for the Chassis. What you are supposed to hear is a Click/Clunk then everything should work. The chassis one is working correctly. The Coach one you hear nothing. It also seems sporadic. When wife did it she got lights and everything then all of a sudden everything went off in the coach. Some connection is being broken. This is one area of our motorhome that I haven't worked on, so any advice would be helpful. I am not sure why you would want to bypass the switch.
