Battery status during long term storage

We will be storing our 2019 Class A Pace Arrow LXE 38K soon.
Coach is stored in an RV port in Florida April through November.

Will be plugged in to facilitate running the A/C and maintain batteries.
Concern is the constant charging of the batteries may result in the batteries running dry.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you

Yep, if they are lead acid batteries, and plugged in, someone is going to have to be checking the level.

You can set it up with the over 100-year-old method used with wet cell batteries and endorsed by Edison. Add 2 oz of 3-in-1 oil (mineral oil) to each cell. That will keep the evaporation of the water to a minimum so you can leave them on the converter for months without having to do much other than check them. Even if your converter goes bad and boils them down below the plates, the oil will protect them from warping too much.

I've been doing it for years and rarely have to clean the terminals or add water. Current batteries had the oil added 18 months ago and still no corrosion or water loss. What I do initially is use a plastic turkey baster and suck 2 oz of water out and then replace it with the oil.

Note that even your newer converter should be checked for overcharging. It could be set for the wrong type of batteries. There are some converters that can handle several types but they have to be configured.

Someone I spoke with mentioned using a system that automatically maintains the level of the water in the batteries.
I have not been able to find anything like that.
