I also used this one when I had storage with only 120 volt shared outlet power that could not support two coahes plug in at the same time.

My chassis batteries read 14.1 volts when plugged into shore power so my house and chassis batteries both are charged from shore power.

Another option if to use a disconnect, guaranteed no battery drain after installation.

My boat is in storage 6 months of the year with two battery tenders in use. Works great. My C6 Vette sits for a few weeks at a time as well as my wife's motorcycle and have a shared tender for those. Plugs into the car's outlet and comes with a quick connect for the motorcycle. Big fan of the battery tender especially when finding them on sale for less than $40.

I use that one for a house bank of 8 GCs. Usually set it to 8A when first storing to make sure they are topped off fully then back the A setting down to 4 or 2.
I have the smaller 1.5A or 2A? One on the chassis battys.
Only caution is that if you don't plug in or lose power for an extended time they have a low draw on batty if connected.
Not a major problem just something to consider.

Yep. That's what I did. It works great and keeps the chassis batt topped off.

I use it for my boat battery as it sits idle most of the time. Been doing this for years with no problem with battery or keeping charged. I check water levels every 3 months.
