Bay Lights
Noticed tonight that the lights in one of the bays did not turn off when I closed the door. Is there a relay/solenoid/fuse that could cause that. I have turned the bay light switch off so as not to overheat the lampshades.

Could someone have wired it direct? If it is on the same circuit as the other bays it should power up or down with them

Only possibility is the door plunger switch

If all bays are working the same and not turning off, sounds like a bad switch.

That happened to a couple of mine. A brief spray of cleaner/lube and working the button by hand solved the problem.

Bay light
My Monaco has a pin switch (plunger Style) on the water bay. ordered 5 on the internet for 8 bucks or so. 10 minutes to swap out if that is the issue. Should be in the upper right hand corner of the door facing the coach. I swapped my incandescent lights with LED, I can now see with out a secondary source.

I suppose it could be the plungers, but if so it is affecting 6 of the bay doors. I just bought 10 LED lights to replace the incandescent, but haven't had a chance to exchange them. Maybe tomorrow, then I can check voltage.

I also would suspect the plunger/pin switch. They may be wired in a string. One bad affecting many...like those annoying Christmas Lights.
But......more importantly...
If you're worried about over heating the lampshade/plastic cover that says to me you have NOT converted to LED bulbs down there. I would do this ASAP and if I were you....throughout the entire coach. Every single bulb. It's cheap to do, won't overheat anything, draws a tiny amount of amps and has many other benefits.
