Beaver Santiam Fog Lights

I am new to the forum so dont attack me if I post something stupid.

I recently purchased a 40ft Beaver Santiam coach...love it so far. Need to fix a few items on the coach just because they need fixing. like the fog lights.... i don't know where to get them or what kind they are. I would also like to fix/replace the step well lights (they don't work).

I have other issues (minor) but this is a good start for now.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Congrats on the new rig! Just post specific questions over in the appropriate areas of the forum. Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

You should put your coach's year, make, model in your signature line (go to User CP a the top of forum page to access/add your "signature") . I guess you have a 2003 - 2005.

About 90% of these rigs are parts used by trucks - so once you have a part in hand the closest NAPA store can usually be helpful. If the fog light bulb is out you may need to pull one out and take to store, but it's unusual for both bulbs to burn out at the same time - more likely the fuse or switch is the problem. Have you tested for power yet?

Do you have the Owner's Manual?

You may want to joint the Beaver Ambassador Club (BAC) they have a lot of Beaver owners and information that can come in handy (but you have to pay to join). You can view their forum for free but need to be a member to post a question or access their technical library. https://beaveramb.org/join-bac/

Check the links in my signature line. I have some wiring diagrams available. I don't recall if I have one specific to your coach or not. I just provided copies of everything I can find. Hopefully someone will find something useful.

Great choice on the Beaver! You may also want to join facebook "Beaver Motorhome Fans" as well. Great group of folks that are very helpful!

Thanks for your response. I will go to NAPA when this Hurricane blows through.

Reach behind the fog light and pull the bulb out. I did the same thing with my Beaver and got it replaced at NAPA.

It is most helpful to everyone here to post the fix for the problem, after you solve it. I have learned a lot by reading other peoples fixes. No telling when the gremlins will raise their ugly heads, and having a fix in the memory bank is a great help.
