Bed Struts
One of the gas springs in my under bed storage compartment no longer stays on the anchor stud. Maybe the clip is worn out. They are Stabilus Lift-O-Mat, 20" long, with notations of "7167SK 0535N 144/11 A 27" and "142569-15-000".
I don't see this model listed online or even cross-listed. What are people using under their queen beds? I have a 2012 Vista 26P. Thanks.

I have been using the whatever brand on Amazon for years and they are cheap and work fine. Just need the length and lbs.

The old struts were 20" long, but didn't show the pounds. The new ones are 120 pounds and are working fine.

0535N in your part # is the force in Newtons. That's 120 lbf. So you got it right.

Got it -- makes total sense once you point it out. It's been way too long since my last physics class!

... remeber if you are thinking about replacing the struts with better, be careful about securing them to the cheap composite side wood that Tiffin uses.
After the screws came loose in the cheap wood, did fabricate / mount a U shaped steel bracket over the wood so that the screws holding the struts had something 'sensible' to screw into. Has held for 4 years not just 'out the door', to sell with poor design & workmanship.

I replaced with the same specs as the original struts.
Winnebago also uses cheap composite wood, which broke down years ago. I reinforced with plywood, which works, but I need to just rebuild the frame at some point. Coach manufacturers take so many shortcuts that it's tempting to just start with a shell next time.
