Yes, I looked up my old notes and the glass shop that I referenced using years ago did order a custom tempered pane and installed it in the frame I provided.

So correct, many residential/commercial glass shop like I linked may not --or probably won't- be able to do it. It may not hurt to call them and see, however.

Just to add to my post above, there are actually residential/commercial glass shops that do have access to tempered glass as tabletops, shelves, shower doors and enclosures, and a multitude of other applications could use tempered glass so I still think that it's worth calling your local glass shop to find out if they can accommodate an RV application.

If you are a DIY person you can do this your self. Remove the window , take the frame apart and remove the glass . Take it to a glass shop and they can make a template and have you a new tempered glass made either smoked clear as needed . You can order the spacer and sealant from DK Hardware to reassemble you glass .You will need their super spacer of the correct width for you glass and a tube of there sealant . We had our large driver and passenger windows done at RV Fog DR. in Searcy Arkanssas and they did a great job . There number is 501-278-3015 if you are close enough to get to them . We decided to try to repaired the rest ourselves with the DK Hardware supply's and have done so successfully. Here a link to the Youtube video we used as a guide . I used a utility knife instead of the oscillating tool to remove the slide handle .
Ahead gun or hair dryer also helps to soften the sealant holding the slide handle to the glass .

I belief the repair materials are also available on Amazon.
Hope this helps.

But thanks for asking

Sorry, but I got this impression from #7 where you said you would wait until after your spring travels.
