Maybe someone can send him a little dab of C4. That'd be even faster and MUCH more entertaining!

Look for a number on the lock

Before you start spending big bucks on a locksmith or destroy the lock by drilling it take a close look and see if it has a three or four digit number on it. If it does you can buy a key that is configured to match that number from Camping World or another RV parts place. It looks to me like a compartment to store sewer hose in.

Often those are core key locks that a lock smith often will be able to open with the core key and just pop in a new cylinder in a few moments. Drilling it out without knowing the exact configuration or how the barrel is installed can cause collateral damage so safest is to try and pick it from the instructions already provided and if that does not work then call a mobile lock smith to give it a try. I use to install office partition systems using similar locks and had a number of core keys and most times they would work on a variety of other products from a variety of different manufactures. I could go in with a bag of new keyed alike cores and rekey an entire office in very short time which would be done anytime an employee would be fired.

You may even find the information in the owner papers that came with the coach or by calling the customer support line at the manufacturer of the coach. Since the lock box looks factory then it should be listed on the coaches build sheet.

If you find a hand gun inside you may want to have the local police run it to ensure its not stolen, illegal etc. It should be registered to the rightful owner so they would be culpable for leaving it there if not deceased.

Ewww... it is inside the RV under the passenger seat. That would be a terrible place for a sewer hold compartment.

Is it a small "safe" or secure lock box for money and valuables? Maybe there's treasure inside...

Do you have a "751" key? You would be surprised how many of these types of locks all operate with that key. If you don't have one ask around to some of your RV buddies. I've had a trailer, 2 fifth wheels and now a MH and they all used the "751" key on some of the outside locks.
