Cool Beginner

Well I am looking for a used older motorhome. I see a lot of them around that are 20 years old that are $10,000 and under. Is it wise to buy in this group? I only drive short distances and own an RV lot to keep it parked most of the time. I just can't see myself in a travel trailer as they don't seem as well built. Do the roofs hold up on the older ones and what other issues should I look for?

Motor homes demand they be driven. IF your going to park it and let it sit a trailer is a bar better choice. BTW a 20 year old MH will be built about the same as a 10 year old trailer. In other words, lots of wood.

Thanks

I see you point in driving the MH. I had a collector car I needed to have on the road as well. Thanks for you reply.
