The air portion is inflated in less than a minute with the included 12V pump.

We usually left the bedding on the mattress when sister visited, making retracting the bed an easy, fast operation. The half bath makes those late night visits for the guest convenient without disturbing anyone.

This is more great info I would have never known without input from nice forum people like you.

Prior to this sleep arrangement evaluation I was planning on a tiffin allegro bus 40ap with an air mattress sofa bed. Then I read so much on the forum that said the “sofa” sleepers were just not robust enough for day to day use. This started a long and painful evaluation of how to sleep a third person who will be traveling with us comfortably. I even looked into super class Cs with over cab bunks. I’m still torn. Thor may be the option with the drop down bunk but I’m worried about their overall quality.

If that 'guest' has some age on them, I think I would be more concerned about the height of the drop down bed. That's a long way down if you're drowsy and forget where you are and have to pee.

I guess one thing I would look at in your situation is a bath and 1/2. This would provide for more privacy at night.
I found a Thor that has drop down bed AND bath and 1/2. I think I'm leaning this way....just not sure of the quality of Thor.
