Thank you twinboat. I always wondered about the 50% cut-off. When researching AGM batteries for our coach I never found any of the manufacturers warning not to go below 50% DOD. Seems to be repeated ALOT in RV circles though.

The mfr. of our current AGM batteries claim we can get 350+ cycles at 80% DOD. That's a lot of dry camping in my opinion.
